This coming Thursday 7th March teachers from all language sections represented in the secondary school are joining together to celebrate World Book Day.
There will be a number of activities promoting reading and the importance of books taking place both on and around the day itself.
- Students & teachers are invited to come along on WBD dressed as their favorite literary character.
- A Book Swap where students bring along a pre-loved book and swap it with one of their classmates.
This is a valuable opportunity to promote reading, literacy, and creativity as we strive to help our children become life-long readers.
The Parents’ body would also like to use this as a springboard for an initiative to put more books on the secondary library shelves! We are looking for unwanted books (in good condition) that could go directly to the library. Before you start stripping your shelves of books (!) please contact Nigel or Sarah at edgroup-s@bru4.eu.
