On 3 March the Nursery/Primary Education council met. Parents representatives from the Dutch, German and English sections attended. You should have received summaries from your section reps but here is an overview!
The topics discussed included security, the evolution of the various classes and sections for the next school year and the follow up on the whole school inspection. The discussion reflected the need for consistent security procedues to be in place and parents made the point that some feel that the barriers being put up between parents and the school are excessive. Issues such as the weight of backpacks, swimming lessons and the transition from P5 to Primary were also on the agenda.
