The APEEE of Laeken is looking for a Transport Assistant
The APEEE de Bruxelles IV is an AISBL under international law operating within the European School of Laeken framework. The APEEE IV manages several services: school transport, extracurricular activities, canteen and cafeterias.
We are currently looking for a transport assistant who will be responsible for processing files for the APEEE’s transport activities.
The Transport Assistant’s duties will include:
– Interface with contacts and partners,
– Manage registrations, cancellations and changes,
– Ensure internal and external communication: follow up departmental e-mails, telephone inquiries, inform parents of the progress of files and draw up corresponding summary statements, check the performance of school bus companies, etc.
– Management of absences and replacements of a team of 50 bus monitors.
– text input, formatting, tables, diary management, filing, file preparation, meeting organization, etc.,
– Analyze and synthesize areas for improvement and provide an appropriate response,
Profile and skills required:
The candidate has an associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional training/experience in the relevant or similar field.
We ask the candidate to be versatile. Initial experience in team management is essential. The candidate is familiar with the Office 365 suite and Google Workspace.
Knowledge of the school environment is appreciated. Familiarity with the APEEE structure, organization, environment, and stakeholders is an asset.
Thorough knowledge of French and very good knowledge of English are imperative; writing skills in French and English are required. Any other language is a plus.

Rigorous and methodical, he/she will also demonstrate excellent organization, planning, analysis, comprehension, and oral and written communication skills.
