Ski trip 2025 – Leysin (Switzerland) –>SOLD OUT

We are delighted to announce the destination of our Ski Trip 2025 for students at the European School of Brussels IV (Laeken):

From 22 February to 1 March 2025, the Swiss resort of Leysin will welcome our young skiers for an enriching and unforgettable experience, suitable for beginners and intermediate levels.

WHEN ?

  • Departure: Saturday 22 February 2025 in the evening, arriving in Leysin on Sunday morning.
  • Return: Friday 28 February 2025, after dinner, with arrival in Belgium on Saturday morning.

WHERE ?

  • Resort: Leysin, in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.
  • Accommodation: The Hotel Fabiola, in shared rooms (2-3 students) with direct access to the slopes.

ABOUT LEYSIN

Located at an altitude of 1,250 m in the Swiss Alps, Leysin is a friendly resort offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. This ski area is particularly appreciated for its warm atmosphere, its slopes accessible directly from the hotel and its safe environment, ideal for learning and progressing.

ABOUT THE SKI AREA

With 100 km of marked slopes, the Leysin – Les Mosses – La Lécherette ski area offers a variety of descents suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers.

FOR WHOM?

This trip is reserved for students in levels S4, S5, S6 and S7.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The cost of the ski trip is 1120€ per pupil.

WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?

  • Accommodation in shared rooms (2-3 students) for 6 days and 5 nights.
  • 7 ski sessions (mornings and afternoons) including 2 days in the ski area
  • 2 other sporting activities: a snowshoe outing and a Tobogganing session.
  • Lift pass valid for 5 days, Monday to Friday.
  • Rental of ski equipment for 5 days, including skis, poles, boots and helmets.
  • Swiss Ski School ski instructor for each group of approx. 10 students, suitable for beginners and intermediate levels.
  • Après-ski activities: organized by the APEEE team.
  • Full board, from breakfast on Sunday to dinner on Friday evening.
  • Bus transport from and to the European School Brussels IV.
  • Cancellation and assistance insurance in case of accident, early return, repatriation or loss of luggage.

INTERESTED?

Registrations will open on Friday December 13 at 10am on our online platform, in the “Extracurricular activities” section. Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

You will then receive an automatic notification inviting you to make the payment to the extracurricular service’s bank account. Please make this transfer within 10 working days of receiving the payment request, using structured communication only. No payment reminder will be sent. After this deadline, places will be offered to students on the waiting list.

Only 50 students will have the opportunity to take part in this trip. Given the popularity of this trip in previous years, a waiting list of 10 places will be set up.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Registrations are strictly nominative; therefore, it is not possible to transfer a place already allocated to another student.

All requests for cancellation prior to the ski trip must be justified, and requests for reimbursement will be subject to the following rules:

  • For cancellations made before 06-01-2025: refund of 70% of the total price of the stay
  • For cancellations made after 06-01-2025: refund of 60% of the total cost of the holiday.
  • For cancellations made one month before departure: reimbursement of 10% of the total cost of the stay.

Unless the student’s cancellation is covered by a medical certificate making skiing impossible: 80% of the price of the stay will be refunded.
