In situ courses will resume on Monday 16 November 2020. Following the decisions that have been taken by the management of the Brussels European Schools as of the 16 November 2020 and in order to accommodate the pupils attending school, please note that the APEEE services will operate as follows from 16 November until further notice:
- Transport
Nursery – Primary – Secondary: The school buses will run normally: the morning and afternoon lines as well as the Wednesday and Friday noon lines are maintained. The sanitary measures that have been in place since the beginning of the school year will continue to apply.
- Canteen
Nursery – Primary – Secondary: No meals may be served for primary and secondary students according to Belgian circulars 7816 and 7817.
Following a vote by the APEEE Board, the canteen will also no longer serve meals to nursery pupils.
Nursery, primary and secondary students must bring their own lunch and eat at the times and locations set by the school.
Cafeterias will also be closed.
- Extracurricular activities
Nursery – Primary: Extracurricular activities will resume on days and times scheduled since the beginning of the year. The sanitary measures that have been in place since the beginning of the school year will continue to apply.
Secondary: All activities are suspended until further notice.
Private lessons will continue to take place.
Important: please note that all extra muros activities (swimming with Promo Sport, activities with Action Sport) are cancelled for nursery, primary and secondary students according to Belgian circulars 7816 and 7817.
Following the school’s decision to remain with online teaching after All Saints’ holidays, for all pupils, from 2 to 13 November 2020 inclusive, the APEEE’s services had to be suspended from Monday 2 November to Friday 13 November inclusive. The APEEE Board will meet in the next few days to analyse the reimbursement matter. We will keep you informed as soon as possible.
