Mila is from Bulgaria but lives in Brussels since 2007 where she has finished high school and later obtained a BA in Social Sciences with a Political Science orientation at the VUB. Currently she is doing a Master of European and International Governance in VUB.
Even though her background is politically oriented she has also studied pedagogy at HE2B Defré where she gained her first experience. That’s also when her passion of working with kids was born. She has taught Bulgarian language as an extracurricular activity at the Laeken’s European school since 2017 and started to give English classes as well in 2021.
Outside of the school she is very active within the Bulgarian community in Belgium where she is part of a team which created a Cultural Association which organises all type of events for the Bulgarian community as well as tries to popularise Bulgarian culture within the territory of Belgium.
