1st semester
The objective of the course is to introduce children to the different activities found in the magical world of the circus.
The children discover and become familiar with new disciplines such as juggling, magic and balloon sculptures. They improve their sense of balance on objects by practicing on stilts, rolla-bolla or pedal-go and they do the acrobatic apprenticeship, doing rolls or porters like a pyramid. The physical and creative possibilities are explored according to each person’s ability.
2nd semestre
The objective of the second semester is to allow the children to acquire and deepen the basics in the following disciplines: juggling, balance on object, acrobatics, magic and ball sculpture.
Children choose to specialize in one or two disciplines to improve their skills and prepare a performance on the Performing Arts Day. Circus techniques offer an approach that emphasizes the child’s place in the group, thus reinforcing group work and autonomy.
