The Belgian Police have informed the European institutions about a demonstration by Belgian trade unions taking place on Thursday, 29th September.
Around 50 000 demonstrators will gather at “Gare du Nord” as of 08:30 and move at around 11:30 to “Gare du Midi”. Please note that significant traffic disruptions are to be expected in the centre of Brussels before and during the event (at least until 17:00). Public transport is likely to be disrupted.
The Transport service of APEEE BRU4 will be maintained. Should there be a problem with a particular bus line, parents will be informed by SMS / phone call. Make sure your contact details are up to date in your transport enrolment form, and keep your cell phones available and charged.

Trade unions have called for a national demonstration on Thursday September 29th 2016. All activity sectors will be impacted.
STIB/MIVB subway, tram and bus lines will be disrupted as STIB/MIVB staff members will take part in this demonstration. We therefore advise you to take all necessary precautions.
