Departure message from APEEE Director, Éric Rega

Dear all,

After 6 years with the APEEE of Brussels IV, including 2.5 years as Director, I have decided to retire on 30 June 2024.

I would like to thank the entire APEEE operational team, the Board for its confidence and support, the School and the OIB, as well as all our external partners.

On a daily basis, I have been lucky enough to be able to count on a committed team, full of resources and talent, without whom we would not have been able to achieve our ambitious goals.

I’m thinking in particular of: the successful implementation of Together School for the transport service, the rationalisation of bus routes in a complex context, the significant improvement in results of the Canteen while maintaining quality despite significant price increases, the growing success of the Extracurricular activities thanks to a wide range of activities offered as well as successful one-off activities, the organisation of our participation in the school’s Open Day, the opening of our Instagram account and many other things.

These successes are just a small part of what we have achieved.

Working with you has been a unique professional experience, during which I have learnt a lot and shared some good times.

My aim now is to pass on all the necessary information to the person who will succeed me, to ensure a successful transition that will enable you to fulfil your potential and carry out exciting projects.

I wish you all the best for your professional and personal future. Take care of yourself, stay optimistic and dare to innovate.

Then the time will come when I can devote myself to my passions in this new life.

Thank you again for everything, and maybe I will see you soon.

Éric Rega
