After becoming a mother, Anamaria’s goal in life changed radically! After 12 years of experience in communications and events, Anamaria decided to concentrate on what she was passionate about: reading and nature! She now devotes all her energy to encouraging the next generation to read and learn more about the environment.
In a world where children are exposed to screens and indoor activities from an early age, she wants to promote to young people a simple way of life centred around two main pillars: nature and books.
She wrote her first children’s book in 2023 and regularly organises reading workshops in four Flemish libraries that have a collection of Romanian books.
She was also chosen as a book ambassador in 2023 as part of the 1 Stad, 19 Boeken campaign organised by Munt Punt.
Anamaria also has her own blog, Nature and Books, in which she promotes books and nature for children.
