The Brussels police have reported demonstrations against the TTIP in the coming days.
1. Tuesday, September 20, between 16 and 23h, police expect about 10 000 people and a few tractors in the European district.
Rally points will take place from 16h on the following streets:
shopping street,
rue de l’Industrie,
rue des Deux Eglises,
rue d’Arlon,
Spa Street,
Wetenschapsstraat.
Participants will move from 17h via the rue de la Loi, rue Silent, Rue Joseph II, the Chaussee d’Etterbeek, rue Belliard and the Auderghem avenue to the Schuman roundabout.
Very significant traffic problems are anticipated before and during the event.
• The Montgomery Reyers and tunnels will be closed at 15:30.
The rue de l’Act will be closed to traffic at 15:30.
The event could also have an impact on public transport, including possible ad hoc closure of the Schuman and Maelbeek Metro Stations by police
2. Wednesday, September 21, a static event will take place between BERL and Justus Lipsius, between 7 and 12am.
