Born in 1996, Arianna began studying the flute at the age of nine at her hometown music school. Later, at the age of ten, she was accepted as a young student at the Conservatory G. Nicolini of Piacenza, Italy. She studied under Professor Daniela Subitoni until obtaining the traditional diploma at the age of seventeen, then three years later, thanks to the teachings of Professor Vincenzo Gallo, she obtained her first master’s degree with full marks of 110/110 cum laude.
In September 2017, she decided to improve her skills, challenging herself on an international scenario. She moved to Brussels, where she was accepted as an undergraduate student at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel in Professor Frank Hendrickx’s class. She then pursued her Master’s studies in the class of Carlos Bruneel, first flute at the Brussels Opera Theater La Monnaie.
While studying in Belgium, she had the opportunity to do an Erasmus exchange in Saarbrücken, Germany, at the Hochschule für Musik Saar, where she studied with the incredible Prof. Gaby Pas-Van Riet, former flutist with the SWR Orchester. In June 2022, she obtained her master’s degree with great distinction.
From September 2022, she will continue her studies at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels as piccolo with Professor Katlijn Sergeant, piccoloist of the Swedish Malmö Symphony Orchestra.
Arianna has performed in various orchestras as first flute with leading conductors and soloists such as Jukka Pekka-Saraste, Leonidas Kavakos and Elisabeth Leonskaja.
She works regularly with the Belgian orchestra Speranza Symphonic, with whom she gives regular solo concerts.
In April 2024, she won the competition to become a member of the Académie de La Monnaie and the Belgian National Orchestra as flute and piccolo. This success will give her the opportunity to play with both orchestras in the 2024/2025 season.
From 2015 to 2017, she had her first teaching experience as a class assistant of her former flute teacher Vincenzo Gallo at the Conservatory of Piacenza, and subsequently obtained her Italian teaching certificate, after passing exams in the field of pedagogy and learning psychology.
After moving to Brussels, she continued to teach a number of private pupils and, from September 2021 to June 2022, she was appointed flute teacher at a private music school in Waterloo.
In September 2023, she enrolled on the Master in Didactic course at the Conservatory of Mons to perfect her teaching of music and flute. In September 2024, she will have completed the course and obtained her teaching diploma.
Arianna has always had a passion for teaching. She finds it motivating, challenging and fulfilling to pass on the knowledge and joy of music to others, while cultivating her creativity and improving her practice and study as a musician. She does so with compassion, enthusiasm and experience, while making a positive contribution to the school and the student community.
