This year we are experiencing a large number of bus cancellations for return journeys.
We are facing a major shortage of drivers and when drivers are absent, the bus companies cannot provide us with substitutes.
In an effort to be as prepared as possible when this happens, we have put in place a procedure outlining your options to have your child return home.
Three scenarios:
1) The 15:20 bus is cancelled
Please contact us on 02 474 10 94 to let us know if :
- Your child can return with the 16:10 bus by telling us which bus corresponds to his/her stop. Check the 16:10 timetable now to familiarise yourself with the stops served and make sure you are ready with the information;
- Your child can leave the school alone (and take public transport, for example);
- Your child can leave the school with the parents of another child, telling us who;
- You will pick up your child at school. He/she will stay at the school entrance, at number 88 Drève Sainte Anne, under the supervision of one of our bus monitors
2) The 16:10 bus is cancelled
Please contact us on 02 474 10 94 to let us know if :
- Your child can return with a different 16:10 bus by telling us which bus number and stop. Check the 16:10 timetable now to familiarise yourself with the stops served and make sure you are ready with the information;
- Your child can leave the school alone (and take public transport, for example);
- Your child can leave the school with the parents of another child, telling us with whom;
- You will pick up your child at school. He/she will stay at the school entrance, at number 88 Drève Sainte Anne, under the supervision of one of our bus monitors
3) The Wednesday bus is cancelled
Please contact us to let us know that either you will come to pick up your child from school or that your child can leave the school alone or take another Wednesday bus for which he/she is registered (please tell us which bus number and stop it will be).
