Dear parents of the Italian primary section,
we would like to thank you for your contributions and for your commitment to supporting the school, the teachers and your children.
It has been a challenging school year, but we believe we can be satisfied with the results.
For our part, we have continued to update you on the actions and discussions taking place in the Covid group and to channel your questions or suggestions where necessary.
We would like to congratulate the parents and students who are finishing their primary cycle here, and wish them all the best in continuing their new school career with enthusiasm and curiosity.
To all the others, we look forward to seeing you in September to continue our common journey of growth.
We wish everyone a peaceful holiday period, full of emotions and beautiful experiences.

Dear Parents
The school year is coming to its end: it has been difficult for everyone, pupils first and their families too. Our school has tried to meet different needs, related to health regulations due to the pandemic and to educational continuity, trying to keep a balance between both. It hasn’t always been easy, but a hard work has certainly been done for and this is also thanks to everyone’s cooperation.
But this year has the last surprises for us: the early departure of a newly-appointed teacher, added to a pre-existing absence of another teacher who never arrived from Italy and the problems associated with this year’s BAC.
As Section Representatives we are fighting on both fronts to ensure that our children receive qualified teaching and fair evaluation, but nothing can be taken for granted! The situation of the detachment of Italian teachers is an old difficult issue and causes delays and uncertainties which the school does not always can manage in a satisfactory way for all. And this can be particularly harmful for classes close to the BAC. As far as we are concerned, we are in contact with the italian Representatives of the other European Schools in order to outline a common action in this sense and to demand from our Ministry that there will not be sad annual delays, which jeopardise the preparation of our children and put our section in a weak position compared to the other language sections. Nevertheless, we could act on several levels, if anyone of our parents could collaborate in solving this problem.

Carissimi genitori della sezione primaria italiana,
vogliamo ringraziarvi per i vostri contributi e per l’impegno dimostrato nel supportare la scuola, gli insegnanti e i vostri figli. È stato un anno scolastico che ci ha messo alla prova, ma crediamo di poter essere soddisfatti dei risultati ottenuti. Da parte nostra abbiamo continuato ad aggiornarvi sulle azioni e discussioni che avvengono nel contesto del gruppo Covid e a canalizzare, laddove necessario le vostre domande o suggerimenti.
Congratulazioni ai genitori e studenti che terminano qui il ciclo delle primarie, auguriamo loro di proseguire con entusiasmo e curiosità il nuovo percorso scolastico. A tutti gli altri, un arrivederci a Settembre per proseguire il nostro comune cammino di crescita.
Auguriamo a tutti un periodo di vacanza sereno, ricco di emozioni e di belle esperienze.

Carissimi genitori,
Anche quest’anno scolastico volge al suo termine: non possiamo nascondere che sia stato un periodo difficile per tutti, ragazzi in primo luogo e famiglie di riflesso. La nostra scuola ha cercato di venire incontro alle diverse esigenze, quelle relative alle norme sanitarie dovute alla pandemia e quelle della continuità didattica a distanza o in situ, cercando di tenere un equilibrio tra le due. Non sempre è stato facile, ma sicuramente è stato fatto un enorme lavoro per provarci e questo anche grazie alla collaborazione di tutti.
Purtroppo quest’anno ci riserva le ultime sorprese: la partenza anticipata di un professore appena incaricato, che si viene ad inserire sull’assenza preesistente di un altro professore mai arrivato dall’Italia ed i problemi legati al BAC di quest’anno.
In quanto Rappresentanti di sezione ci stiamo battendo su entrambi i fronti per cercare di garantire ai nostri figli un insegnamento di livello ed un’equa valutazione. Ma nulla è scontato! Come anche nelle altre scuole europee, la situazione del distaccamento dei professori italiani è questione antica e spinosa e ci causa ritardi ed incertezze a cui non sempre la scuola può far fronte in maniera soddisfacente. E ciò può risultare particolarmente nocivo per le classi vicine alla scadenza del BAC. Per quanto ci riguarda siamo in collegamento con i Rappresentanti italiani delle altre scuole europee per delineare un’azione comune in questo senso e per pretendere dal nostro Ministero che non ci siano gli annuali tristi ritardi, che pregiudicano la preparazione dei nostri figli e mettono la nostra sezione in una posizione di svantaggio rispetto alle altre sezioni linguistiche. Ciò non toglie che potremmo muoverci su più livelli, se qualcun altro dei genitori potesse collaborare alla risoluzione di questo grave problema.
Un “in bocca al lupo” ai ragazzi che hanno affrontato il BAC per il loro futuro universitario e lavorativo e BUONE VACANZE per tutti.
