1st semester
The objective of the first semester is to discover the world and natural phenomena. We will tackle various playful themes in groups, ending with more individual workshops. Amongst the themes addressed, we will work on our 5 senses: through the discovery of fruits, understanding the phenomenon of wind, breath and air as well as the cycle of a plant (planting and sowing).
Workshops will start with a discovery and observation phase. Then comes the reflection phase where we aim to encourage children to question themselves and to think. Finally, we will end with the experimentation phase where children can experiment.
2nd semester
The aim of the second semester is to do mini science experiments, each one more fun, exciting or spectacular than the other.
Among these experiments, we will discover for example the different facets of water and its phenomena, we will learn how to inflate a balloon without blowing into it, how to make an eggshell disappear or how to make a volcano with lemon juice. All these fun games require few ingredients and simple tools that can be found at home.
This activity will stimulate the children’s curiosity, reflection and language (formulation of their questions, listening…).
