Come and join a choir!
Children from the International schools in Brussels have been invited to participate in the 2014 Brussels Carol Concert to be held in the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels (KCB)on Sunday 14 December, at 5pm. Children from EEB4 are welcome to join! There is a website and for more info you can contact Mary Gow. Here is the info we have received.
“The suggested age is 7 – 15 years but of course we can make exceptions. Come along and try it out – if it suits then come again – if not, then enjoy being in the audience. We are having fun afternoons with music games, some singing, some learning of words, a wee party with food from your countries – please bring a contribution if you like – no pressure – I will provide the drinks! Could I please ask parents to type out the words. Some can follow from the music scores but younger children would benefit from just having the words in front of them. We do not expect the children to read the music.
Our next get together will be on Sunday 19 October , 2-4pm. Venue is St Johns International School in Waterloo. Please look at the website to find directions. We have to use the back entrance to the school!!
Future rehearsals/get togethers are booked for Sundays November 16 and 23. Again, these are not compulsory but we hope that you will be able to attend.
In December we plan to get together on Wednesdays 3 and 10. Time – 5.30 – 7.30pm Venue for these December rehearsals will be Salle Laeticia, Avenue des Grenadiers, 1050 Ixelles. Parking is good – we have space for 20 cars, then there is easy parking in the street. Details of this venue are on the website.
