Somerfesto

Information about the 6th EEBIV Somerfesto should have reached you via your class reps this week: magic shows, bouncy castles, book sale, Pony Rides, face painting, Games, Karaoke, Fencing and Judo, Science Festival, APEEE info stand, School year book, Disco (P5 and above only) and Jazz Café and lots lots more!

Advance sales of tickets will take place on Friday 6 and Tuesday 10 June when volunteers will collect completed order forms and distribute the tickets and bracelets. The Somerfesto tickets are available in two denominations this year (1 kupono and 2 kuponoj) and cost 10 euros for a block of 10 x1, 5 x 2 or a combination of the two. They can be used for all food and drink, books DVD’s, face painting etc. The Jazz Café and Disco tickets are 5 euros each. Tickets will also be on sale on the day at the entrance!
Remember to contact your Somerfesto class reps if you want to contribute to the food stands!

As in previous years, the Second-Hand Book and DVD Stall will be an excellent opportunity for your children to find new and exciting books to read. We will be collecting donations of books and DVDs (for children up to age 15) until Thursday June 12. Nursery/Primary students may take their donations to Teresa or Cécile in the school Library. Secondary students may take their donations to Mr Doerr’s office or directly to the school Library.

Please remember to attach the completed donation form, including your child’s name and class information. Anyone who donates three items may choose one free book or DVD at the Somerfesto Book Stall (only one free item per student, regardless of the number of items donated).

And finally, to give our children a day to remember we need Volunteers, Volunteers, Volunteers! Many of you have already done so, but if you haven’t yet, please go to the volunteers page of the website at http://www.somerfesto.eu to sign up. Students from Secondary and 5th Primary may also volunteer for some stands with their parents’ permission.
