1st semester
The objective of the first semester is to stimulate the children’s artistic expression and freedom, as well as to develop their imagination and creativity through exercises and experiments.
The first semester program will begin with an introduction to Art and a presentation of some mythical works and their famous authors. Then the children will move on to the practice of art. They will become familiar with different techniques and materials such as pencils, pastels, painting. They do easy, fun and sometimes free exercises to let their creativity express itself.
2nd semester
The second semester aims to develop an artistic and playful education whereby the little artists will learn what visual language is and will then apply it to their work by creating their own interpretation and personality. The second semester allows the children to improve their artistic culture through the presentation of great masters and works. They do fun and more technical exercises to draw or paint based on well-known works, for example: Magritte, Van Gogh, Dali, Frida Kahlo, Munch, Klimt, Hundertwasser, etc.
They learn what perspective is and integrate it into their work. They are offered easier exercises that are a continuation of the first semester, such as building an animal mobile by applying basic artistic techniques and using different materials.
