In these times of Coronavirus outbreak and following the decisions of the Belgian government, the APEEE staff would like to reassure you that they are available and that they have put in place measures to ensure the continuity of their services.
Our team has taken steps to ensure the optimal functioning of its services and is therefore teleworking. It is with great pleasure that during the next few days, we will share with you our new working environment trying to give you a light touch in this unprecedented period: every day, one of the APEEE team members will welcome you to their home!

Dorothée Lefort, member of the Board and of the Prevention group, just found out that the conference “Video games addiction “, which has been organized a long time ago and adapted to the anti Covid-19 circumstances, has unfortunately been postponed by the speaker. To offer parents some food for thought, at a time when screens are taking up a lot of space, she will spend her afternoon of Thursday, April 23rd, on her screen, looking for links and watching programmes on… “screen addiction”, with her children mocking: “Still on your computer, Mommy?”.

This Wednesday April 22, greetings from Kristin Dijkstra, President of the APEEE! Kristin is in daily contact with the Board, APEEE Staff, other APEEEs, Interparents, COSUP and the OSGES to discuss distance learning, well-being and how the pandemic will affect our schools in the short and long term. The strength of our European School community is being put to work!

This Tuesday, April 21, meet Ambar Liétar, member of the Board. From the living room or from the garden during good weather, Ambar is looking for ways to support parents, children and teachers. In these difficult times, it is important to stay and feel supported by your community.

This Monday, April 20, it is Dana Puia Morel’s turn, member of the Board, to welcome us at her home after the Easter holidays. Dana is preparing coaching exercises on how to cope with the crisis by developing your strengths, honoring your values more and finding balance in life.

Before wishing you a good weekend, the director of the APEEE would like to wish you a good day from his new office this Friday 3 April! This is Eric Piettre working on the operational, administrative and salary adjustments generated by the Covid-19 situation and their consequences on the budget and the result for the 2019-2020 financial year.
