This is our first issue in the 2015 – 2016 school year and it is packed with information on what the APEEE has been doing since the start of term.

We would particularly like to draw your attention to the General Assembly which will take place this year at the Albert Borschette Congress Center (CCAB), rue Froissart 36, 1040 Brussels in the Schuman District on 7 December 2015.  We hope to see many of you there. This year we will have interpretation (English, German and French). As well as giving you the opportunity to join the Board and help run the APEEE, this is the occasion on which as parents you need to approve the accounts and budget for the  next financial year.  Items which the CA has put on the agenda include proposals to open a cafeteria and to launch a social fund.  Other parent points which are the subject of a valid motion will also be included.  The full details will be circulated by 23 November. We hope you take the time to read the activity report and to come and ask questions you may have. We also have reports on various pedagogical issues and details of external events which are coming up soon.

Finally, the APEEE would like to take this opportunity to express its condolences in relation to the recent attacks. We also take this opportunity to reassure all parents that the safety of our children is a primary concern and we are working closely with the school on this issue.
